Five of the 18 persons who applied to take part in the public contest to fill the post of director of the Administration Board of the National Agency for Energy Regulation (NAER) were admitted to the contest. The list was confirmed by the Parliament’s committee on economy, budget and finance, IPN reports.
The five candidates are: Alexei Taran, Ruslan Surugiu, Andrei Lopusneac, Anna Butenko, and Lilian Burcaru.
Vasile Plămădeală was asked to provide additional information so as to see if the candidate meets the requirement to have at least three years’ experience in managerial posts in public institutions or enterprises operating in the sectors managed by NAER.
The interview stage was set for March 15. If several candidates have an equal score, the commission will choose the most suitable candidate by a majority of votes.
