The new version of the automated information system for creating and circulating electronic fiscal invoices “e-Invoice” will be put into operation on July 1 this year, the Center of Information Technology in Finance has said. The switchover will be ensured by transferring data from “e-Invoice” to the new version of the system between 00.05am and 09.00am.
On June 1 this year, the Center started to test the new version of the “e-Invoice” system. The testing process now involves 224 users from 117 entities. At the start of June, the Center also launched a series of free online training courses on how to use the new version of the system, intended for private individuals. The 24 courses held so far involved over 600 specialists engaged in issuing and recording of electronic fiscal invoices, primarily from central and local public authorities.
The “e-Invoice” system is a modern IT solution that replaces the traditional mechanism of issuing and recording fiscal invoices. It enables to validate the invoices and user data, to modify the supply and issuing date of a set of invoices and does the calculations for all the cells of the fiscal invoice automatically.
Those who want to gain access to the automated information system “e-Invoice” can perform the procedure in an automated way on https://www.sfs.md, through the Taxpayer’s Personal Cabinet.
The number of taxpayers that have used the “e-Invoice” system since its launch in 2014 rose to over 50,300 entities that are represented in the system by over 176,000 users. Over 4,900 users gained access to the system during the first five months of this year.
