The Chisinau Prosecutor’s Office completed the investigation and sent to court the case of five persons who are suspected of robbing pawnshops and currency exchange facilities in Chisinau, IPN reports.
According to the Prosecutor’s Office, in January-February the members of the illegal group entered three pawnshops and currency exchange facilities in Rascani district of Chisinau. They were arrested after they stole money and goods to the value of about 1.5 million lei.
If they are found guilty of robbery, they will serve up to 12 years behind bars.
