Floresti man gets life for murdering two with ax

A man from Floresti was sentenced to life imprisonment for killing his neighbor and his neighbor’s mother-in law with an ax, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, the man carried out repair works in his neighbor’s house and asked that he be remunerated. The neighbor did not have the entire sum and gave him only a part of the money, but promised to pay the rest later. The two ate and drank together and then moved apart. Instead of going home, the man went to the neighboring village and continued to drink there. Afterward, he returned to the neighbor to ask for the rest of the money taking an ax with him. As the neighbor could not give him the money, he hit him with the ax, killing him. The mother-in-law of the victim, who saw what happened, was killed with the same ax. The sentence can be appealed to a higher court.
