The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration issued a warning, recommending the Moldovan people to avoid going on trips to Romania owing to the snow and high winds, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to a communiqué from the Ministry, dozens of national and county roads in the neighboring country are blocked and a number of settlements remained without electric power. Four fluvial and maritime ports and the navigable ways Bara and Sulina Channel were closed because of the strong winds. Tens of flights were cancelled or redirected to other airports.
The Romanian authorities announced the orange code will be extended for Friday night and the warning will cover four more counties.

The Moldovan tourists in difficulty can use nonstop the free hotline 0800 86 82 82. The operators will tell them how to get to the nearest tourist base, where they will receive assistance, including from the Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism of Moldova.
Three buses going from Chisinau to Romania got stuck on the Roscani road on Wednesday evening. PR specialist of the Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure Maria Chitoroaga has told Info-Prim Neo that a part of the passengers continued their way by trains, while others returned to Moldova.
