Forty-eight new cases of A (H1N1) flu reported in one day

Forty-eight new cases of A (H1N1) influenza were recorded in Moldova during a day. According to the National Scientific Practical Center of Preventive Medicine, 113 persons got infected with pandemic flu in Moldova by Friday morning. The Ministry of Health says Moldova does not form part of the countries that witness epidemics and the population can stop the spread of the virus by taking prophylaxis measures. The first vaccines against pandemic flu will be brought into Moldova from Romania in the second half of November. The pregnant women, children younger than 6 and doctors who are in contact with the infected persons will be the first to be immunized.
