Four ambassadors of the Republic of Moldova will simultaneously cover other countries except those of which they are in charge, as the Cabinet decided on April 13, IPN reports.
At the suggestion of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Moldova’s Ambassador to Spain Eugeniu Revenco was also named Ambassador to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria and to the Tunisian Republic, with residence in Madrid.
Moldova’s Ambassador to Ukraine Valeriu Chiveri will be also in charge of Armenia, with residence in Kyiv, while Moldova’s Ambassador to Romania Victor Chirilă will also be responsible for the relations with Montenegro, with residence in Bucharest. The Ambassador to Russia Lilian Darii was also named ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, with residence in Moscow.
Also, Moldova’s Ambassador to Lithuania Sergey Mihov was recalled and will stop fulfilling his duties on July 15, 2022.
The draft decrees will be submitted to President Maia Sandu for signing.
