The novel coronavirus caused four more deaths in Moldova. The victims are a man and three women from Chisinau and Căușeni, IPN reports.
According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, the man who died was 64 and was admitted to “Saint Trinity” Municipal Clinical Hospital on April 23. The women were 58, 62 and 77 and received treatment at “Saint Trinity” Hospital and at “Toma Ciorbă” Hospital.
A number of 4,363 infections with COVID-19 have been confirmed in Moldova by now. As many as 227 infected persons are in a serious state and 26 of them were put on a ventilator.
On May 5, 114 cured persons were discharged from the hospital, taking the total number of persons who recovered to 1,658. The death toll from COVID-19 stands at 140.
