Prior to entering Zimbru Stadium to see the Moldova vs England match on September 7, all spectators will have to go through four security filters. This is why they are advised to come earlier, especially since, under UEFA-FIFA rules, the stadium's gates will close at 21:30, 15 minutes before the game.
Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, Chisinau police chief Silviu Musuc said the first filter will be mounted on Butucului Street and Burebista Street. At the second filter near the entrance to the stadium, fans will be checked with portable metal detectors, followed by another metal detector upon ticket check. The final filter will stand before the entrance to the spectator areas.
Silviu Musuc advises spectators to show up at the stadium two hours before the game's start so as to avoid crowding at the gates.
No alcohol in bottles or other recipients, firearms, knives, petards, flares or smoke-producing devices can be brought into the stadium.
