Four-year-old falls from moving vehicle

A four-year-old child fell from a moving truck driven by his father. The incident happened on Voluntarilor St in Chisinau. The boy fell on the roadway after accidentally opening the door. He was lucky as he did not get under the wheels of the vehicle and there was no car passing by, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Chisinau Ambulance Service, the child suffered a cranial-cerebral trauma, a concussion and injury to internal organs and was rushed to “Valentin Ignatenko” Hospital. A 12-year-old girl was struck by a car in a crosswalk on Calea Iesilor St. She sustained a shank fracture. Another girl aged 10 suffered a concussion when she was hit by a car at the intersection of Ion Titulescu and Pandurilor streets. A boy of 13 was injured in a road accident on Alecu Russo St. He was taken to “Valentin Ignatenko” Hospital with a shoulder fracture. A woman aged 37 fell over a metallic pipe in a minibus. She had to be operated on the sexual organs at the Emergency Hospital. Six persons were injured in road accidents in Chisinau on September 10, including four minors.
