Four young people who graduated from the Academy of Music, Theater and Plastic Arts staged an exhibition of paintings dedicated to spring in the building of the French Alliance in Chisinau. These presented their own view of spring and set the goal of making the people overcome the daily routine, IPN reports.
The exhibition was mounted by painters Miriana Hmelnitskaya, Anastasia Sidorenco, Andrei Shimanskii, and Adriana Gajos. “We treated the theme as we understand it and feel it, in accordance with our inner world. We wanted to stage an exhibition and chose the theme and then started to work on the paintings,” Adriana Gajos stated for IPN.
Andrei Shimanskii said that spring is not only a state of nature, but also a state of feelings and of conscience. “You can see different paintings and different ideas on the issue and even different painting techniques,” he stated.
According to the organizers, the exhibit was mounted with the own financial resources of the four painters and was supported by the French Alliance in Chisinau. The works will be accessible to the public until the end of spring.
