Free identity cards for flood victims

The residents of the villages that have been affected by this summer's floods will be issued with identity cards free of charge, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a Government Decision. The decision covers the inhabitants of Nemteni, Obileni and Cotul Morii villages of Hancesti district, Ghioltosu, Tiganca and Gotesti of Cantemir district, Talmaza, Ciobruciu and Purcari of Stefan-Voda district, and Macaresti of Ungheni district. The costs will be covered from the net profit made by the state-run Informational Resources Center “Registru” and from the state budget if the profit is insufficient, said Minister of Information and Communication Technology Alexandru Oleinic.
