The Executive Committee of Gagauzia signed an agreement to establish friendship relations with the autonomous district Ningxia of the People’s Republic of China. The press service of the region’s executive body has told IPN that the document was signed during a visit of a Chinese delegation to Comrat on November 1.
The delegation headed by the head of the Relations with Europe Section of the Ningxia administration Bu Xin-hai carried out negotiations with first deputy Governor of Gagauzia Valeriu Ianioglo.
In a meeting with the delegation, Valeriu Ianioglo said there are many investment possibilities in Gagauzia, while the legislation of the autonomous region provides advantageous concessions, including the exemption of investors from paying taxes in the real sector of the economy if they create new workplaces.
For his part, Bu Xin-hai expressed his conviction that potential and real projects for cooperation will be identified within the agreement. He invited the Gagauz administration to pay a visit to Ningxia.
