Gas pipeline in Carpineni village put into operation

360 houses and four two-story apartment buildings in Carpineni village of Hancesti district are now supplied with gas. The local natural gas pipeline has been put into operation today, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the Government. At the inauguration, Mayor of Carpineni Ion Carpinean said it was a new stage in the development of the village, stressing the kindergarten, hospital and high school will be also gasified. “This is the second attempt to gasify the village. This process had been delayed for different reasons. Now the people agree to be connected to the gas supply as they see the gasification process will be completed,” Ion Carpinean said. Andrei Curalov, the head of the company that executes the gasification works, promised the works will go on and all the villagers will be connected to the gas supply in the near future. Ion Carpinean also said 32 families from the village are ready to accommodate persons affected by floods from Hancesti district.
