Gender Doc-M demands apologies from Marian Lupu

The information center Gender Doc-M Wednesday picketed the State Residence, demanding that Speaker Marian Lupu apologize publicly to the homosexuals as he insulted them by statements made during a TV program. Coordinator of the program “Lobby and Advocacy” Angela Frolov has told Info-Prim Neo that after protesting at the State Residence, members of Gender Doc-M left a letter for Marian Lupu with the guard. “We consider that an official who receives his salary from the taxes paid by the citizens of this state, including the homosexuals, should have a little respect for these people and understand that all the Moldovans are equal,” said Angela Frolov. In order to make sure that the letter will get to the Speaker, the protesters left a copy of it in the antechamber. The protests will go on if Marian Lupu does not apologize. According to Gender Doc-M, Marian Lupu said that homosexuality as debauchery and the gays and lesbians are people, ‘but not like us’.
