Germany wants prosperous development for Moldova

Germany wants Moldova to have prosperous development, but the latter has to put in efforts and continue walking the Euro-integration path. “Germany will support you on this path, and will offer you the necessary experience and support for the transformation of the country. We will be at your side”, stated German Chancellor Angela Merkel in her speech given at the Republican Palace. “We, Europeans, can be proud of Europe, which is a space of freedom, of democracy, of freedom of opinion. The citizens’ power of creation can grow only when they know that it is worth the effort, when they can base on the fact that the rule of Law will protect them”, mentioned Angela Merkel. The Chancellor added that the visa policy is important for both parties, and is in the interest of everyone, but requires the creation of certain conditions. Angela Merkel has given a speech at the Republican Palace, during her official visit to Chisinau, on August 22, at the invitation of Vlad Filat.
