Gheorghe Papuc investigated over loss of secret documents

The prosecutors opened a new legal case against former Minister of the Interior Gheorghe Papuc, this time over the loss of secret documents, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the Prosecutor General's Office (PG). The PG says the legal case was opened after it was established that Gheorghe Papuc did not return documents classed as 'personal secret' and 'strict personal secret' to the Ministry of the Interior's secretariat during 2003-2009. The former minister of the interior is investigated outside prison in two more cases opened over misuse of power in April 2009 and misappropriation at the Ministry of the Interior.
