The Liberal Party head Mihai Ghimpu said he will go to court to demand that the Agreement on the creation of the Pro-European Coalition be partially annulled, namely the signature of Ion Hadarca in the name of the Liberal Party. He informed about this before the June 20 sitting of Parliament, IPN reports.
Mihai Ghimpu said that Ion Hadarca didn’t have the right to put his signature there as the agreement was concluded by parties, which create parliamentary groups, not vice versa.
The Liberal leader also said he will ask the court to ban Ion Hadarca from using the phrase “the faction of the Liberals” when referring to himself. According to him, Ion Hadarca usurped the post of head of faction.
The Liberals of the group of Hadarca, who were excluded from the Liberal Party, form the majority in the party’s split faction.
