Girl drinks rat poison in order not to hear her parents quarreling

A sixteen-year-old girl from Chisinau tried to kill herself by drinking rat poison so as not to hear how her parents were quarreling. Eufalia Negreata, coordinating doctor at the Chisinau Ambulance Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the girl was taken to the hospital after the ambulance doctors subjected her to gastric lavage, Info-Prim Neo reports. A 22-year-old man was shot from an airgun and injured in the occipital region and shoulder in Durlesti town. An investigation is under way. A man aged 56 from Bubuieci commune suffered a cranial-cerebral trauma, a shoulder contusion and got four ribs broken when he slipped and fell off the roof of a two-story house. A 57-year-old woman fell from the second-floor of an apartment building in Cricova town. The ambulance doctors supposed she suffered a backbone fracture. Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau Ambulance Service provided assistance in 767 cases, including 74 cases of trauma, 76 cases of acute viral infection, and 24 deliveries.
