Global Fund to Fight AIDS exempted from taxes in Moldova

The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria will be exempted from paying direct taxes in Moldova on the import and export of goods on condition that they are not sold, Info-Prim Neo reports. The MPs Friday ratified an agreement in this respect by a majority of votes. The informative note to the bill, which was presented by the Ministry of Health, says the ratification of the agreement will facilitate the obtaining of non-reimbursable financial assistance that is offered by the Global Fund to Moldova to fight HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis. The agreement does not necessitate creating new bodies or transforming the existing ones and does not imply investments from the national public budget.
