The Cabinet today has submitted to Parliament for ratification a grant agreement between the governments of Moldova and of Japan, signed in Chisinau on 15 April 2015, that will enable a Non-Project Grant Program in Education.
The program aims to improve sanitary conditions and the infrastructure of education institutions in Moldova. It also involves delivery of equipment for physics and chemistry labs, tools and appliances needed for studies, agricultural machinery, office equipment and furniture.
The grant amount is 100 million yens, the equivalent of $837,000.
