The Government of Japan will outfit the vocational schools and pre-university education institutions of Moldova with educational equipment to the value of US$980,000 within a non-project grants in education program, IPN reports.
The Moldovan Government approved the draft decision to initiate negotiations and to endorse the signing of the Grant Agreement.
The equipment is to be selected by a commission of the Ministry of Education from a wide range of offers presented by the Japanese side.
The Government of Japan has provided assistance in implementing a number of education projects in Moldova, including to offer scholarships and to technically equip pre-university education institutions within the Kusanone program and different projects/programs implemented by the Foundation for Moldovan-Japanese Relations.
