The Cabinet approved a initiative submitted by a group of Communist MPs, which says that the persons who apply for important positions of authority should be obligatorily subjected to mental state examination, Info-Prim Neo reports. The initiative enumerates the mental disorders that will not allow a candidate to occupy an official position. These are: the chronic mental disorders with persistent severe manifestations, the behavioral disorders caused by psychoactive substances, alcohol and drug dependence, chronic mental illnesses, etc.
