Government will allocate 1.1m lei for making medals for May 9

The Government decided to transfer 1.1 million lei from its reserve fund to the Ministry of Defense for making jubilee medals – the Second World War Commemorative Cross, related permits and boxes for medals by May 9, Info-Prim Neo reports. By the same decision, the Ministry of Defense was authorized to select the companies that will make the jubilee medals on a contest basis. Medals will be given to 7,985 veterans.
