The Cabinet today decided to allocate over 2.6 million lei to its Relief Fund to assist the recovery effort in the wake of a windstorm that ripped through the country on March 11.
Various amounts will go to repair the Culture Hall and the kindergarten in Cotiujeni village, Briceni district, the community school in Mândrești, Telenești, and a house in Chiștelnița, Telenești.
At the same time, 21,700 amount will be given to the Ministry of Defense to cover expenses following the snowstorm of January 11/12 when the army was called in to pull trapped vehicles out of snow.
The Government’s Relief Fund was established to finance recovery responses in the aftermath of natural disasters, epidemics, and other emergencies.
