A grenade exploded in a bar in the municipality of Balti this morning, April 29. No casualties were reported.
Sergiu Chircu, of the Firefighters and Rescuers Division, has told Info-Prim Neo that the explosion happened in the bar Madrid on Independentei St at 4.40.
Initially, it was presumed that the explosion was caused by a gas or oxygen cylinder. It was later established that it was a grenade that blew up. A team of specialists and investigators are working on the scene.
Ninety persons were killed in the 677 fires that happened in Moldova this year.
