Ground frost forecast for coming night

Weather forecasters warn that ground frost is expected on the night of May 6. Tatiana Strugac, head of the State Hydrometeorology Service’s Weather Forecasts Center, has told Info-Prim Neo that the temperatures may drop to minus 2 degrees Celsius. Northern Moldova will be the hardest hit. Nighttime temperatures there will oscillate between 0 and minus 2 degrees Celsius. But the wind will reduce the effect of the frost. The yellow code warning for wind issued for May 5 is valid for May 6 as well. On Friday, the wind will blow from northwest at a speed of up to 15-20 m/s.
