Half a million people crossed state border during two weeks

Over half a million persons crossed the state border over April 13 and 25. The crossing points on the border with Ukraine were in greater demand, especially the Otaci point, where there were recorded over 114,000 crossings, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Border Guard Service, over 168,000 crossings of the total 569,000 crossings were made by foreigners. The number of crossings by foreign citizens rose by 22% compared with the corresponding period last year. The Border Guard Service said the state border in the period was also crossed by more than 124,000 units of transport.
