The mandatory health instance policy in fixed amount in 2019 will cost 4,056 lei, as during 2014-2018, IPN reports, quoting the draft law on the mandatory health insurance funds approved by the Cabinet.
The 50% discount for those who pay the health insurance premium by April 1, 2019 was kept. In the case of farmland owners, the reduction is of 75%, while of patent holders of 60%.
The mandatory health instance policy premiums in percentage contribution deducted from the salary and other recompenses also remained unchanged. The employer and the salary earner will equally pay by 4.5%.
The mandatory health insurance funds for 2019 were projected at 7.326 billion lei.
