The Hemodialysis Municipal Center from Chisinau has resume its work, after staying idle 7 years because of money shortage. Now it has 5 artificial kidneys made in Germany and will ensure the treatment of 20 patients dependent on the external cleaning of their blood, Info-Prim Neo reports.
A press release by the PR direction of the Chisinau City Hall reads that the administration of the Health Direction identifies money to buy 5 hemodialysis devices more. The center can hold 10 artificial kidneys. Each of those costs some 400,000 lei and can work ten years.
There 125 people with renal insufficiency in Chisinau, who depend on dialysis. They used the facilities of the Republican Emergency Hospital.
