The Prime Minister, National Bank governor, director of the National Anticorruption Center, prosecutor general, chairman of the Competition Council and director of the Security and Information Service were summoned to appear before the MPs to provide explanations about the situation in the banking sector. Such a request, made by the Party of Communists in the May 7 sitting of Parliament, was accepted unanimously, IPN reports.
The MPs decided to call a meeting of the Standing Bureau at about 2pm to decide when and how the hearing on the situation in the banking system will be held.
