High winds and heavy rain with hail expected in parts of Moldova

Weather forecasters issued a yellow code advisory for May 23 and 24. There will be heavy rain with thunder and lighting and hail accompanied by strong winds of 15-18 m/s in parts of the country, the head of the National Weather Forecasts Center Tatiana Strugac has told Info-Prim Neo. Showers are expected in most parts of Moldova. The precipitation on May 24 will be heavier, especially in the southern region. Tatiana Strugac said the unstable weather will persist until the end of the week and there will be heavy rain again in most parts on May 28 and 29.
