Professional and amateur singers and declaimers, poets, folklorists and humorists will perform at the first charity cultural-artistic event titled “Tears of My People” that will be held at Ginta Latina Theater in Chisinau on Sunday, May 31, starting at 16.00, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The program of the charity event includes compositions by such well-known Moldovan composers and writers as Ion Aldea-Teodorovici, Anatol Chiriac, Valentin Danga, Eugen Doga, Dumitru Matcovschi and Grigore Vieru.
A dinner to commemorate all those that passed away, including the young men that died after the April 5 parliamentary elections, will be held at the end of the recital.
The event is supported by the International Organization for Migration in Moldova.
