A number of 28 teams representing national and international companies and organizations and teams of football amateurs will take part in the HOSPICE Angelus Football Cup on October 1. This is an annual event held to collect funds to the benefit of people and adults who suffer from incurable progressive, advanced and life-limiting diseases, IPN reports.
The participating teams made a donation of at least 2,000 lei to the Philanthropic Foundation HOSPICE Angelus. All the raised funds will be used to ensure the continuity of palliative care services, including medical, social, psychological and emotional assistance, provided free to the patients of HOSPICE.
The sixth HOSPICE Football Cup takes place at the stadium of the sports club Real-Succes, situated at 17/2 Mihai Viteazul St, starting at 9am.
HOSPICE Angelus Moldova is the main provider of palliative care services in Moldova. It offers medical, social, psychological and emotional assistance to children and grownups, who suffer from incurable progressive, advanced and life-limiting diseases. In 2015, more than 2,300 persons found support and consolation at HOSPICE Angelus.
