The economic agents operating in the fields of restaurants, food services and real estate are obliged to connect their cash registers and control equipment to the Automated Information System “Electronic Sales Monitoring” (ESM) by October 1, IPN reports.
According to the State Tax Service, the taxpayers concerned are to purchase cash registers and control equipment compatible with the given system. The list of certified models of cash registers and of suppliers is available on the website mev.sfs.md.
Subsequently, the taxpayer submits through Technical Assistance Centers the application for registration of the cash register and control equipment in the ESM. The application is filed separately for each cash register and control equipment.
Also, the economic agents that practice the activities listed above are to remove the old-type cash registers and control equipment that do not correspond to the technical requirements approved by the Interdepartmental Commission for Cash Registers and Control Equipment dated October 20, 2020.
The Electronic Sales Monitoring is a common information resource that ensures the reception of information about transactions carried out through cash registers and control equipment, real-time sales monitoring and risk analysis.
