Hot water resumed in 88% of Chisinau’s apartments Wednesday

On Wednesday, January 21, the hot water was resumed in 1,435 residential blocks in Chisinau (88%). Other 204 blocks will be reconnected Thursday, Info-Prim Neo has learnt from a release by heat supplier Termocom. The hot water in Chisinau was halted when the gas crisis started. The providers decided to take this measure in order to save the natural gas in ratio 16%. Russia resumed gas deliveries to Europe, through Ukraine, including Moldova, on Tuesday morning, January 20. The tap was closed at the beginning of January, as a result of the conflict between Ukraine and Russia concerning the gas transit and price for Ukraine. On January 21, all kindergartens and medical institutions were connected to hot water.
