During the winter holidays, the ad sites are full of Santa Claus services – to visit the client at the kindergarten, at home or even at work. Potential clients must know that prices vary depending on the hour and day of Santa's visit, IPN reports.
Santa's home visit on Christmas or on New Year's Eve at midnight or the following hours costs about 1500 lei. Those unwilling to pay so much can wait a few days after New Year's Eve, when prices start to drop. Prices are also low for December 31 before noon.
One week before New Year's Eve, when all schools and kindergartens organize festivities, Santa can come for 500 lei. However, parents must pay additional money for the presents. In case of corporate events, managers must pay 800 lei for an hour with Santa.
The police recommend the people to be careful when contracting such services. If they don't call a trustworthy service, they should at least check the ID of the person who will enter their house dressed as Santa.
