The leader of the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM), acting Prime Minister Vlad Filat said that if the Government had been able to complete its duty, the results of the reforms would have been felt. In a TV program on Moldova 1 channel, Vlad Filat said he wants the actions initiated several years ago to be fully carried out, Info-Prim Neo reports. “I have the necessary experience as I had been the head of a coalition Government for three years and a half. I know how the Cabinet’s work should be organized to meet the requirements of time, especially of the people, as the period that remains until the elections requires a stage of action reform intensification. Full responsibility should exit and all the risks should be assumed as regards the image and the electoral aspect. Afterward, these reforms must be implemented in the best way so that the results are felt,” stated Vlad Filat. He also said that he wants very much the actions started five years ago, when he began the struggle for the promotion of the rights and freedoms, to be put into practice as planned, for the benefit of the Moldovan people and for the European integration. According to the politician, the justice sector reform is one of the most difficult, but possible reforms. “We have a strategy and a plan of action that are being implemented, including by adopting laws that aim to make the judges more responsible and that lay down work assessment principles,” said Vlad Filat He stressed that the political crisis in Moldova should be solved in a calm and responsible manner. Vlad Filat also said that the representatives of the three parties of the former ruling alliance will hold negotiations on March 13. He considers that things should become clearer at the end of this month at the latest.
