Igor Dodon criticizes Government Program as 'lacking solutions'

Communist MP Igor Dodon told reporters after the formation of the Cabinet that the four-year Government Program approved on Friday by the parliamentary majority was “merely declarative” and lacking solutions to the country's pressing needs, Info-Prim Neo reports. “I expected a program that would be much more clearer, at least for the everyman. I hoped there would be clearly enough stipulated commitments, that is, the responsibilities of the Government. But in fact, what we have seen is a merely declarative government agenda, which doesn't offer solutions to the problems faced by Moldova, and doesn't provide any performance indicators”, said Igor Dodon. The Communist MP made a comparison with the 2008-2009 Greceannyi Government, which, according to him, had very clearly established targets and indicators. When asked by reporters what he thought of the new ministers proposed by the governing alliance, Igor Dodon described them as “fairly qualified”.
