The New Government, which is to be invested by the Alliance for European Integration 3, will resist until autumn, especially if Maia Sandu is named Premier, the leader of the Party of Socialists Igor Dodon said in the talk show “Fourth power” on N4 TV channel, IPN reports.
“In autumn, we will have another Government. Somebody does not want the Government of Maia Sandu to work. I know Maia Sandu. She will slam the door when she is unable to cope with the situation because she will not enjoy support in Parliament,” said the Socialist leader.
Dodon believes that with the support of the World Bank, Maia Sandu could resist until this yearend, but she would be dismissed for being unable to cope with the economic and social problems.
He said that he worked together with Maia Sandu at the Ministry of Economy and appreciates her for her professionalism, but the Party of Socialists will not vote her Premier because she is the candidate of the oligarchs.
Dodon stated that there is a risk of having early elections this autumn. “The created coalition is very weak. Maia Sandu may not garner the necessary number of votes. If the three parties do not manage to invest the Government until September, early elections will be held in October. But early elections will most probably take place next spring as they will be unable to elect the head of state then,” he said.
