Igor Dodon on visit to Brussels

Igor Dodon will be visiting Brussels during May 19-21. He will have meetings with Belgian and European officials in his position of candidate for mayor general of Chisinau, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the candidate's electoral staff. On Thursday, May 19, Igor Dodon, accompanied by the Head of the EU Delegation to Moldova Dirk Schuebel, will meet with high-ranking European officials, MEPs, and political leaders. While in Brussels, Igor Dodon will also have meetings with the Acting Prime Minister of Belgium, mayors of Belgian towns and with important businessmen. Among the aims of Igor Dodon's visit are to identify new investment opportunities for the municipality of Chisinau, preliminarily establishing partnerships with public and private institutions in Belgium and the EU in general, and to learn efficient administration methods used in the Belgian towns, especially Brussels. Earlier, the PCRM's candidate Igor Dodon visited Russia's capital Moscow for the same purposes.
