MP Igor Dodon called on Minister of Finance Veaceslav Negruta to be professional and not to become involved in political discussions and appraisals. The leader of the group of Socialists launched the call during the debates on the fiscal policy report that was presented in Parliament, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a communiqué from the lawmaker’s press service, Igor Dodon criticized the proposals put forward by the Ministry of Finance, as regards the introduction of the income tax of 12% for economic entities and the launch of the reforms concerning the indirect taxation of people’s incomes. “The group of Socialists is not against the taxation of large incomes, but it is not clear how this process will take place,” said Igor Dodon. The MP warned that implementing projects in a hurry, without analyzing them and only at the instructions of the IMF, the Ministry of Finance will have to modify or annul them in several months, as it happened to the initiative to amend the Customs Code, as regards the import of cars older than seven, and other initiatives of the kind. The communiqué also says that in a news conference on December 6, Igor Dodon put forward a series of proposals on the fiscal policy for 2012.
