An anti-smoking initiative titled “Life without cigarettes exists!” was launched in Chisinau. It presents confessions of persons – personalities and ordinary people – who gave up smoking and their lives and the lives of those around ‘goes on’, as they say, IPN reports.
The first three confessions belong to TV journalist Mircea Surdu, musician Stefan Negura and the applicant for a master’s in theology Stanislav Turcan, who showed, by hundreds of days without smoking, that ‘life without cigarettes exists’.
The message “Life without cigarettes exists!” is also promoted by the portal Stiripozitive.eu and is supported by the World Health Organization Regional Office for Europe and the European Union within the national anti-smoking campaign.
Among the next protagonists of the initiative are people working in the mass media and theater, directors and even pensioners, said the portal’s manager Igor Guzun.
