Inmates at Soroca Prison complain about inadequate access to drinking water

Inmates at Prison no.6 in Soroca are complaining that they are given insufficient amounts of water to drink and only three times a day. They were able to express this complaint during a recent visit by two experts of the Human Rights Center's Balti Office. The inmates further complained to Oleg Ryaboi and Iurie Boldesco about the unbearable heat in their cells. The experts overall found that no improvements to the detention conditions were made at Prison no.6, despite recommendations formulated following an earlier monitoring visit in June.
