The Ministry of Justice has launched a pilot project enabling Internet users to see intermediary versions of laws and regulations with all their amendments. Before this, users were unable to see the integral text of an older, intermediary version.

The Ministry said in a press release the project was created to meet some specific needs of the legal community and civil society.

By the end of this year, the Ministry intends to publish the versions of about 13,000 laws and regulations, including key legislation such as the Civil Code, the Criminal Code, the Code of Administrative Offenses and the Labor Code.

The final goal of the project is to publish the entire content of the State Register of Legal Acts, which contains over 66,000 documents.

The pilot project is available online at lex1.justice.md. Users are asked to give their suggestions for improving the website at nicolai.bujor@justice.gov.md.
