International media club “Format-A3” designates winners of contest held in Moldova

The international media club “Format-A3” presented in Chisinau the results of the contest “Non-short Memory”, naming the authors of the best competing works. Irina Ivanchenko, the Club's representative in Moldova, has told Info-Prim Neo that the contest aimed to encourage the maintaining and development of interhuman relations in the post-Soviet area. “We, the former citizens of a large state and colleagues in writing should restore the old contacts because we must not forget the bright pages of the past, which cannot be removed with a sponge,” said Irina Ivanchenko. The top prize was awarded to Svetlana Derevshchikova for the article “Mother – Russian, father – Russian, Sveta – Moldovan...”. The prize represents a one-week creation trip to any corner of Russia. During the award ceremony, Svetlana said she dreams of visiting Saint Petersburg. The second prize went to Natalia Rozamirina for the interview “Constantin Munteanu: what do the Moldovans and Russians have in common?” She will also go on a one-week trip to a region in Western Siberia or Ural, as she will choose. The third prize was given to Karina Busila for the article “National self-determination or I'm a product of globalization”. She will make a one-week trip to any town in central Russia. Italian journalist, politician and ex-member of the European Parliament Julietto Chiesa, who heads the jury of the “Non-short Memory”, arrived in Chisinau in connection with this event. The award ceremony was also attended by the jury member on behalf of Moldova Valeriu Jereghi – known film director, scriptwriter and laureate of many international festivals. According to Irina Ivanchenko, Svetlana Derevshchikova had headed the culture division of the paper “Nezavisimaya Moldova” during seven years. Afterward, she was appointed as deputy editor-in-chief of the newspaper “Izvestia” that appeared in Chisinau. Now Svetlana heads the Russian Language Press Association of Moldova and cooperates with the Russian Center of Culture and Science in Chisinau. Natalia Rozamirina is a member of the Journalists Union of Moldova. Her real name is Natalia Dashevskaya. During the last 15 years, she has worked for the paper “Argumenty i Fakty” in Moldova. Earlier and concomitantly, she wrote articles for newspapers and journals, including “Nezavisimaya Moldova”, “Jeleznodorojnik Moldavii”, “Delovaya Gazeta”, “Capitala”, and “Мoldova”. Karina Busila contributed to the newspapers “Kishinevskie Novosty” and “Office”. Afterward, during two years, she worked as an educator at a kindergarten for children with hearing impairments. In 2006, she was employed as a proofreader at the Russian language editorial office of the Chisinau paper “Capitala-Stolita”. Currently, Karina coordinates the Russian language edition of this paper. “A similar contest titled “Excellent Memory” took place in Estonia in 2009. As a result of the contest, there was published a book containing the best articles, interviews, essays, sketches and stories by Estonian journalists. The participants in the contest held in Moldova expect that a similar book will be issued in Chisinau as well,” Irina Ivanchenko said. The international media club “Format-A3” was founded by journalists of the paper “Komsomoliskaya Pravda” and the TV channel “Rossia” in July 2009. It aims to ensure communication with journalists, politicians and representatives of the intellectual and creation elites of Russia and the CIS countries. Among the invitees and friends of the Club are Doctor of Political Sciences Vladimir Medinski, writer Ilya Strogoff, the head of “Izvestia” paper Vladimir Mamontov, the crew of the movie “We are from the future 2”, TV presenters Dmitri Kiseliov, Arina Sharapova, Vladislav Flearkovski, and Alexei Pushkov.
