Almost 100 instrumental musicians, from 7 countries, will perform on the stage of the “Nicolae Sulac” National Palace, in a symphonic concert on August 29. 8 good instrumentalists were chosen, after thorough auditions, to represent Moldova. The show will be performed in all 7 countries that have delegated their artists, reports Info-Prim Neo. Head of the Chisinau Culture Department Lucia Culev says that the artists are from Poland and the Eastern Partnership states (Georgia, Ukraine, Belarus, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Moldova). “These are youth up to 24 years of age, and the conductor is a prodigy in universal classical music, Ilyich Rivas from Venezuela, aged 19. This is a high-level cultural event”, mentioned Lucia Culev. The concert is an initiative of the “Adam Mickiewicz” Polish Culture Institute in Warsaw, under the patronage of Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski. Also at the National Palace, a concert will take place on August 30, in which young local artists, which have performed on some of the world’s greatest stages, will perform beside grand masters, such as Eugen Doga, Anastasia Lazariuc, Iurie Sadovnic, etc.
