Ion Ceban, head of the Socialists in the Chisinau Municipal Council and President Igor Dodon’s right-hand man, won the Tribuna 2017 award for the most active politician, IPN reports.
“It’s a bit unexpected. I’m sure there are many other active politicians in Moldova who are also worthy of the award”, he said.
Ceban received a specially handcrafted tribune-shaped statue, a Tribuna wine bottle, a Political Almanach and a Political Encyclopedia (edited by Tribuna and PR and consultancy firm Poliexpert), as well as Igor Volnitchi’s latest novel - “40 days and a suspended moment”. He also won a discount card for several partner restaurants.
