The candidate for premiership Ion Sturza insists on forming a politically unaffiliated Government, which means that the Cabinet members must suspend party membership for the period of the mandate, IPN reports.
In a press briefing, the candidate said the list of the future Cabinet members could be compiled in concert with the parties that intend to support the program of the Sturza Government, but there is also a reserve list.
“I insist that all the Government members should meet strict integrity criteria. Each one should declare on own responsibility that they are morally upright and stole nothing and will not steal something. The six-seven criteria will be discussed with civil society,” stated Ion Sturza.
“We must have a different kind of Government. We must have another capacity and flexibility in taking decisions. I want a Government that won’t be a sector one, but will interact in all the matters.”
The candidate demands that he should be allowed to name the administration of four ministries, namely the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of the Interior.
