Acting Prime Minister Iurie Leanca will be put forward for premiership. The executive bodies of the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM) took a final decision in this respect today, IPN reports, quoting Realitatea.md, which, for its part, quotes sources in the PLDM.
On January 23, the PLDM and the Democratic Party (PDM) signed the political agreement on the formation of the Alliance for a European Moldova. The PDM proposed acting Minister of Economy Andrian Candu for the post of Head of Parliament, the voting process being underway. No other candidates were fielded for this post.
As a result of the negotiations, the post of Premier was offered to the PLDM, which today decided that Iurie Leanca will be proposed for this post. Such information was provided to Realitatea.md by sources in the PLDM.
